Download VIDEOVERSE's demo and watch the broadcast!
I'm happy to announce that VIDEOVERSE has been selected to take part in The Storyteller’s Festival on Steam, from March 25th to April 1st. So, on Sunday 26th March at 5:00 PM GMT/ 9:00 AM PST, there will be a broadcast of me playing the first online demo whilst talking about VIDEOVERSE's development – I'd love it if you could make it! You can set an email reminder from the Steam page so you won't miss it, and the demo will available for you to download and play for free during the festival, until April 9th – Both here on itch.io and on Steam. Then, I'll be making some final changes to the game, and an updated demo shortly after.
Unfortunately, I am away during The Storyteller's Festival, so the broadcast will not be live...but, on the plus side, that means there are now subtitles available for anyone hard of hearing. The broadcast will be available until the end of the festival, too, for anyone who misses it.
I look forward to hearing what you all think of VIDEOVERSE. This is the first online demo, and the game is still in development, so it's a great time to hear your feedback – Whether you find a bug, typo or just really, really like it, I'd love to know!
Also, I've rolled out some new promotional art featuring the Kinmoku Shark gaming system on the page. I'm really pleased with how it came out and think it shows off the game well...but, more importantly, I'm getting close to a release date! I plan to launch the game in Q3 this year, so it won't be long until you can finally play the full game for yourself. Until then, check out the demo and let me know your thoughts!
